Watson's already runs its own recurring networking night — The Site Office, built around Leicester's construction and trade scene. But plenty of other organisations run networking events of their own, and we're building a way to support those too.
Venue, Plus Something Extra
If your business, trade body or community group is organising a networking event, the plan is for Watson's to offer more than a straightforward room booking — a sponsored perk for attendees on top, such as a welcome drink or a discount code redeemable during the event.
A sponsored drink at the door does more to set a relaxed tone than any icebreaker exercise.
Who This Is For
Chambers of commerce, trade and professional bodies, recruitment networks, and recurring industry meet-ups are the strongest fit — anywhere a bit of sponsored hospitality would genuinely improve the event, rather than just being a nice-to-have.
Not The Same As The Site Office
Worth being clear: this is different from The Site Office, which is Watson's own in-house construction and trade night. This offer is for other organisations bringing their own networking event to Watson's — different audience, different format, same idea of putting people in a room worth being in.
What's Confirmed So Far
The exact shape of a sponsorship package — what's included, and at what event size — is still being worked out and will likely vary depending on your event. What's confirmed is that Watson's private hire space is available now for third-party networking events, sponsorship or not.
